Circular letter, 1774 July 30, Boston, Mass.

Printed letter addressed to Sam[ue]l and Will[ia]m Vernon, Newport, [R.I.], announcing partnership between merchants Henry Crouch of South Carolina and John Gray, formerly of New England. John Gray announces his plans to establish a commission house in Charleston, S.C., and soliciting their patronage, "If you are concerned in the West-India Trade, the difference of the Carolina and our Market, may be an inducement to you to order your Vessels there from the Islands."
